Longlife learning refers to the way adults keep
learning no matter what kind of job they have. We live in a changing society
and we need to adapt it. The needs of pupils are different and we have to be
able to design an educational environment
so that students could get the skills and tools necessary for their current and
future lives.
This way, the courses I think they are more
crucial are related to:
-
Languages: the CLIL treatment is very
important nowadays. Through this methodology we can reach a real language
learning. We live in a global world which makes necessary to learn one or more
foreign languages to communicate to everybody, in different countries. To find
interesting resources for your subject is a priority. We are starting to teach following
this method, so we still are lack of resources. Learning the way of creating
new activities and contents is a key point.
Furthermore, I consider it´s necessary to create a network in order to
share these resources.
-
Group dynamics: to know how to engage people in a
group, what type of dynamics exist, which techniques benefit the group atmosphere, to improve the
relationship among schoolmates and teacher and above all, how to foster the communication. These type of
tools would help to improve my CLIL method.
-
My specific content: community development is a very
complex topic which involves many different authors with different visions.
There is an urgent need of getting updated as new burning issues are coming out from new real situations.
- New technologies: every year there is a new program or
application that would be necessary for me. In this regard, I think it´s necessary to take up an annual
technology course. Internet resources
can be very useful to organize and
improve our daily class.
